There is a blind man here tuning my piano and he keeps making blind jokes

quote “you know when people ring me up to ask if I can fix their piano I like to tell them i’m so good I can do it without looking”

Sometimes people ask why i became a piano tuner and i tell them its because they wouldnt let me become a pilot

some asshole: haha u cant draw hands

even if your intent is ‘wow look at all these beautiful women’ you are still the male gaze and its fucking nauseating. selfies are a beautiful part of multidimensional tumblr lives of women and taking them out of context to put on the infinite scroll of things that give you a boner is the worst

if i wanted to look at something made by men who always have boners curated for men who are always looking to have boners, i would just turn on the fucking tv or pick up a goddamn magazine or listen to my family & friends talk about all the things i should do so that men might like me or i can just walk down any street because there are always men who get too close and demand that i smile or men who just go, psst psst as if i am a stray animal.

I wanna be cuddled right now and have my back rubbed until I fall asleep.

Recently decided to try my hand at painting digitally, but I am having a lot of trouble deciding on natural looking colors to use when painting skylines that look semi realistic. Can you help me please?

Absolutely! Admin Catch here, and painting is one of my things man or woman or somewhere inbetween.

Alright. So. Colors for the sky… first, decide if there’s a lot of smog near your city. That will help determine vibrancy.

If there isn’t, there’s still going to be a lot of light pollution, so keep that in mind if you’re ever drawing a nighttime scene- lots of light means few stars.

CYMK (cyan, yellow, magenta, black, white) is best for getting vibrant colors, however, for more natural tones, you need to use the standard RBYK (red, blue, yellow, black, white). Either way, the only way to really decide which colors to use…

…Is to get a large pile of reference photos together and use the dropper tool (that thing that looks like what usually screws into a medicine/parfum bottle?) to point-n-click your color palette to you.

Good luck!
